Knit, Knit, Knitting!:-)

I'm knitting a lovely pair of soft woollen socks for my little nephew who is one month old. The pattern is so easy, on ravelry by Angela Whisnant at  sock-a-roos-baby-socks.  I've knitted this pattern before. The wool is Australian Shepherd Baby Wool Merino 4ply. It is so soft. I think the socks will be too big, but he's a pretty big baby so it won't be long before they'll fit!

Well, I received a parcel today. I ordered some new needles and yarn a few days ago and am so excited it arrived today! New Knit-Pro dpns for knitting socks in size 2.75 (for fingering) and 3.5 (for socks I'm going to knit in my own homespun). I've fallen in love with the needles, they are so colourful and feel fabulous. I also bought some Shibui sock yarn in Mulberry. Oh, I just love it! I know I said I was going to get some more Colinette Jitterbug, which I will, but I am just loving this Shibui! I'm in knitting heaven, with baby socks to finish, new socks to begin and of course keeping up my triangular shawl. I've also been spinning some pink merino which I'll knit into socks one day. I bought all my treasures from the www.thewoolshack.com. The service was great and it arrived so quickly!
I'm loving all your comments, so if you are knitting, planting, spinning  or cooking, make a comment and let me know!:-)
