creative space -knitting!
I am absolutely loving knitting this pattern by Ysolda Teague in Italian greenish wool. The lace pattern is delightful! It is so very different from the striped cardi I finished last week!
It's a top-down pattern.
Look at my gorgeous busy-lizzies in my lovely pot!
The Star Jasmine is out!
This is my sacred spot! I love my little courtyard where I have many cups of tea, knit, read or meditate! I am about to go out there now and have a chat with the flowers. I am so happy today because my rheumatologist has agreed to let me come off some of the medications I'm on! The side-effects are horrid and the meds have not really made a big enough improvement. It has been about 4 years of trying different meds. I am to stay on a couple, steroids and the injection one (which I hate-I'm such a sook with needles), but I'm feeling very positive about it all. I'm still coming to terms with not being able to do all the things I should be doing and the fatigue is so debilitating. My hands, knees and feet are pretty bad, but I can still knit and drink tea! My girls and hubby help me in so many ways -they are just amazing! Anyway, enough of that! I hope you are having a fabulous week and enjoying being creative! Don't forget to check out Kootoyoo!
