An English treble crochet stitch (tr) is a U.S double crochet (dc).
Yarn; One ball 8ply wool
Needles: size 5mm crochet hook
Materials: buttons
Make a loop with the yarn, leaving 5cm tail.
Work 3 chain.
Slip stitch into first stitch, creating circle.
Petal 1: *ch2, 2tr into circle, ch2, sl st into middle of circle*.
Repeat ** 4 times.
For last sl st in last petal, pass thread through final stitch and pull tight. Tie at back of flower to beginning tail.
Sew on button tightly in the centre of flower.
