Rest and Relaxation!

This is the view hubby and I woke to last weekend. It was our 16th wedding anniversary and we stayed at Schonegg B&B Murrumbateman. It was lovely -peaceful and relaxing! Just what we needed! We had dinner at flintinthevines. It was a great get-away, only my knees were not good -cold weather! I took my knitting, but didn't get to knit -too busy eating!

We chatted to the alpacas in the next paddock.

I have had to put my Annis Shawl on hold as I am doing some "test-knitting" for a knitwear company in Melbourne at the moment. It should only take me a week and then I'll be right back into the lace! It's funny going from lace to plain knitting with a thicker wool.

I'm also feeling very tempted by two knitting e-courses, Knit-Lab-Fit-Your-Knits and Knit-Lab-Fit-Your-Knits (hats) with designer Stephanie Japel. These courses are not beginner classes, but for more experienced knitters, which I've found are hard to find. So tempted!

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments on my blog! It makes me smile every time I get a comment!
Happy Knitting Everyone!

  1. I've meant to stay out there - or at least check it out and plan to stay there. Great recommendation and happy anniversary!

  2. Sounds like a fun weekend. The knitting courses sound intriguing and how cute are those alpacas? I am so in the mood for some serious knitting right now but need to get my hands on some appropriate wool. Can't seem to make up my mind as to what I want.
